We in ourselves have not that greater resolution of mind to grasp things transcendent and sublime. As such, no man teaches any other man anything of any great import. The only true teacher is God who is willing and able to shine the light of His countenance into the minds of lesser things and bring them a light most intelligible, and by this banishes that great darkness that encompasses all being apart from Him. He is the beginning and ending of all knowledge and understanding and all truth is found in the grace of God apprehended. Man is the highest of all creation, being created in the image of God, but still, is only the image.
